Deep-water multibeam echosounder MLE-11000

Purpose

The MLE-11 000 is designed for hydrographic surveys and seabed mapping at depths up to 11 000 m

The appearance of the devices

Objectives

  1. Conducting high-resolution hydrographic seabed surveys at depths of up to 11 000 m (subject to the vessel’s acoustic noise and sea state)
  2. Gathering side-scan and backscatter data for seabed classification

Components

Hull-mounted transmitting antenna

Hull-mounted recieving antenna

Transmission units

Analog and digital signal processing units

Operator workstation

Real-time sensor data of ship navigation, motion, and attitude are provided.
