Hydrographic equipment complex
Purpose
The Hydrographic Equipment Complex is the first fully integrated Russian system for comprehensive ocean research
It supports both scientific and service tasks, ranging from bathymetry and cartography to engineering surveys and subsea operations across the entire depth range, from shallow coastal waters to deep-sea areas of the World Ocean. Coordinated and synchronized subsystems provide a complete representation of the marine environment and full operator control over the process of collecting, processing and analyzing data
Objectives
- Seabed mapping across the full depth range
- Profiling of subsurface layers and seabed structures
- Measuring the speed and direction of currents
- Conducting research and service operations on scientific vessels and underwater vehicles
- Comprehensive data processing and analysis within a unified software suite
