Geological and hydrographic seabed survey equipment for towed bodies, ROVs and AUVs
Purpose
High-resolution geological, hydrographic, and photo-video surveys of the seabed at depths up to 6 000 m, as well as automated detection and identification of local and extended objects (pipelines, cables, etc.), both on the surface and submerged in the seabed, with determination of their spatial position
Objectives
Generation of detailed sonar images of the seabed and sub-bottom structures with capability of sediment layer stratification
Synchronization of hydroacoustic data with video monitoring for comprehensive assessment of objects and marine environment
Real-time display of survey results at the operator’s workstation
Data transmission to external users via standardized interfaces
Integration into the underwater vehicle’s navigation and hydrographic system for synchronized operation with other sensors and positioning systems
Composition (for towed body):
Tow body includes antennas modules and video system
