Objectives
  1. Conducting high-resolution hydrographic seabed surveys at depths of up to 11 000 m (subject to the vessel’s acoustic noise and sea state)
  2. Gathering side-scan and backscatter data for seabed classification

Components

Real-time sensor data of ship navigation, motion, and attitude are provided.

* Antennas are installed in hull recesses, as this design provides ice protection
** A sound velocity sensor is integrated into the transmitting antenna
